Vancouver's BISON B.C. is set to release their 3rd album, and 2nd with Metal Blade Records, titled Dark Ages on April 13 and prepare for their upcoming tour with High on Fire, Priestess, and Black Cobra by playing a batch of dates with Shadows Fall and Baptized in Blood including two shows at the infamous SXSW festival. BISON B.C. also has plans set for a notational Canadian tour in June, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Dark Ages was recorded by Jesse Gander, who also recorded Quiet Earth, at The Hive Creative Labs in Burnaby, British Columbia and was mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music.

Noisecreep.com recently also caught up with SALEM skinsman Nir Nakav on an exclusive interview, giving a more detailed insight on the meaning behind each song on "Playing God And Other Short Stories".

Salem drummer Nir told Noiscreep that his Israeli band's thrashy new album, 'Playing God and Other Short Stories,' is a "collection of stories ... that are not necessarily related to each other. The only quality they have in common is that they were put through the same processor, the Salem digestive system and, therefore, carry the same sound signature."

With the release of “Majesty and Decay”, their first for Nuclear Blast Records, IMMOLATION has not only once again surpassed their previous releases, but has also without a doubt created their strongest, best produced and most crushing album to date! If a band has ever gotten better with age, IMMOLATION is the finest example. Recorded at Millbrook Sound Studios with long time producer Paul Orofino, mixed and mastered by the talents of Zack Ohren (Castle Ultimate Studios), and with the stunning artwork of Par Olofsson to complete the package, “Majesty and Decay” is an instant classic! With even a more violent militant edge, and some of the most disheartening musical landscapes the band has ever created, “Majesty and Decay” towers in size and scope, taking the listener to the darkest, bleakest depths that only IMMOLATION can provide. Combining both annihilating metal and emotional melodies, CALLEJON prove their uniqueness by writing straight-forward yet very catchy music. Being far away from the stereotype that is Metalcore, copy cats and clichés of today's metal scene, the band creates an independent, self-contained sound with German lyrics that are going to turn the music business inside out. It is not just music, it is way more. A conceptual work of art that takes all listeners on an infamous trip through harebrained artworks and layouts, lyrics and music that won't stop until the very last note.

After releasing two EP´s and one full-length album, playing many club shows, festivals and support tours, CALLEJON have gained a huge and loyal fanbase, aiming for more! After the release of their debut record on Nuclear Blast in 2008 (zombieactionhauptquartier), the band played numerous big festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, Area 4 as well as Summerblast. Nothing could stop them! One of their infamous live shows even was recorded by German national TV WDR and was broadcasted at the so-called and legendary WDR Rockpalast on September 27th, 2009.

ASIA, rock’s first important super-group of the 80s - featuring members from Yes, Emerson Lake & Palmer, King Crimson and The Buggles – will release Omega, its highly anticipated new album of original material. The record is due in the spring of 2010 on Frontiers Records.

Geoffrey Downes, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer and John Wetton, the four original Asia members, reunited in 2006, twenty-three years after all four had last played together. The much publicised reunion resulted in highly successful world tours, a double live LP and DVD (entitled Fantasia: Live In Tokyo) and an acclaimed studio album Phoenix in 2008 which debuted at number 73 in the Billboard charts in the USA and entered the top 100 in several European countries.

Formed at the dawn of the MTV era, Asia’s first release was the best selling album in the world in 1982 and sat at the number 1 spot in the USA for 9 weeks, powered by the classic rock anthem, “Heat Of The Moment,” and four other radio hits. Asia’s 1983 sophomore album, Alpha, also went multi-platinum and enjoyed several hit singles, including the #1 smash, “Don’t Cry”. During the recording of its third disc, the band splintered, and by the 1990s, only Geoff Downes remained from the original line-up.

On April 3rd the new Avantasia epic will be released in two chapters called "The Wicked Symphony" and "Angel Of Babylon". The two albums are the continuation of the trilogy that began with the album "The Scarecrow" in 2008.

The albums will be available as normal CDs, as two separate double-picture vinyls, and as a beautiful collector's edition with a beautiful Avantasia-picture-book. The deluxe box set will feature two CDs in two digibooks with impressive booklets, codes for online content (like bonus tracks, etc.) and the Avantasia-book "The Wicked Trilogy" including many never before seen photos from the tour and from photo sessions, etc. An exclusive interview, liner-notes, and a biography will also be included. All the album versions will be released simultaneously on April 3rd, so no one has to buy everything piece by piece but rather choose the version they prefer to get right from the start.

Thrash metal combo from Cracow (Poland) are ready to unleash their fourth album “Act Of Grace”. The band. The band has just returned from successful tour with labelmates Thy Disease and Armagedon and set up European premiere for March 22nd.

UK based Orthodox Black Death metal act THE ORDER OF APOLLYON (featuring members of CRADLE OF FILTH, AOSOTH, TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED, AKERCOCKE) inked a three album deal with LISTENABLE Records.
The release of their debut album, "The Flesh", has been scheduled for April 2010. The band will be performing at various summer festivals, more info will be posted shortly on www.myspace.com/templeofapollyon.

Frontiers Records is pleased to announced the signing of a new female music star from Norway. Her name is simply Issa and she is destined to stardom in the Melodic Rock musical world ! With amazing looks and an equally amazing set of pipes, Issa has been working hard on her debut album under the coordination of producer Ronny Milianowicz (Saint Deamon, Primal Fear, Dyonisus etc.).

Issa is a 26 years old girl from Oslo, Norway, since she was 17 she started working her way into the music business as a ”demo” singer for different labels in studios all around Norway and at the age of 19 Issa won a competition with almost 150.000 votes singing the song Fade away written by Stian Aarstad, who was earlier a member of Dimmu Borgir. The song got released on a record in cooperation with tv channel Fox Kids.

Somehow people just love listening to this girl sing and she soon hooked up with Gaute Ormaasen from the Norwegian Idol Show touring with him. Issa has also performed on more Metal and Rock records such as Gaia Epicus and Illusion Suite. Issa has also played over 400 shows with Norwegian artist such as Postgirobygget, Dde, Jahn Teigen etc.

WORLD UNDER BLOOD, the melodic death metal side project featuring CKY] guitarist/vocalist Deron Miller alongside Tim Yeung (DIVINE HERESY, ex-HATE ETERNAL) on drums, Risha Eryavec (ex-DECREPIT BIRTH) on bass, and Luke Jaeger (ex-SLEEP TERROR) on guitar, have officially signed to Nuclear Blast Records!

Deron Miller commented on the on the new relationship:

"I'm thrilled to finally be working with Nuclear Blast after all of these years of being a huge fan of their bands.
