Hot News: Valfreya – Announce Album Release Dates / Stream Video Montage

Canadian Viking/folk metal band, VALFREYA announce their 10 song debut album ‘Path To Eternity’ will have its North American release on May 22nd via Maple Metal Records.  The official worldwide release date will be on July 4th.

Formed in February of 2009, VALFREYA is a six member band from Montreal, Canada.  The band’s frontwoman, Crook, has a vocal range of symphonic clean vocals to that of guttural growls.  Crook is the main composer of ‘Path to Eternity’ along with key contributions from guitar player Graz’zt, keyboardist Shark, and all the band members.

Influenced by bands like Moonsorrow, Equilibrium, Arkona and Wintersun, VALFREYA portray a more aggressive and energetic take on the folk metal genre.

Southern Comfort – Tehetségkutatókról fesztiválokra

A felvidéki Southern Comfort zenekar egyre ismertebbé válik a határnak ezen az oldalán is. A srácok tavaly belekezdtek a tehetségkutatóra-járásba, aminek idén érik majd be a gyümölcse. A paksi tehetségkutatón nyert videoklip hamarosan elkészül és a szintén ott szerezték az idei Rockmaraton Fesztiválos fellépést is. Első helyen végeztek Hajdúszoboszlón, a SzobRock elnevezésű tehetségkutatón, majd Budapesten, a Pulzus tehetségkutatón megszerezték a második helyet. Ennek folyományaként idén fellépnek a Sziget-Halom Fesztiválon és a Zorall Sörolimpián. A zenekarral már eddig is készült néhány interjú, melyben bemutatkoztak és a kíváncsiak már rá is kereshettek a Youtube csatornájukon megtalálható remek nótákra. Blues-rock rajongóknak különösen ajánlott!

Éjfény – Jön a Motschar!

Bár még az Éjfény új tagságát nem tudjuk bemutatni, azt elárulhatjuk, hogy most már valóban finisben van az új lemez. A master elkészülte június végére van előirányozva és onnantól kezdve a kérdés már csak az, hogy milyen formában kerüljön a nagy nyilvánosság és a rajongók elé a Motschar. Ez lesz ugyanis az új album címe és zeneileg egy igazán izgalmas anyag fog az érdeklődőkhöz eljutni. Lesz benne  thrash-elős, death metalos, doom-os, sőt  még popos dal is!  Ízelítőt legközelebb június 9-én, a Black Rockban hallhattok, ahol is a Decaying Incest, a Septicmen és a Animid Effect társaságában fog a zenekar muzsikálni.

Hot News: Tankard – Listening Session Trailer!

 TANKARD, the German Kings Of Beer, just released another trailer for the bands upcoming album „A Girl Called Cerveza “ which is going to be released July 27, 2012.
